    WWII - Screen goes black but can still hear the sound


    Just recently I am having issues with loading WWII. The game will start up perfectly until it wants to load the home screen to where you choose multiplayer, campaign.etc.. Now it just goes to black screen but you can still hear the background music.

    - I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling the game but that didn't work. All my other games work properly on the console.

    Any idea why this would be happening? Fix?

    Game goes blank

    Halfway through playing COD WWII, my XboxOne screen goes dark. I can hear the game, and the "swoosh" sound when I press the menu, but I can't get the game to move forward as the screen is black. Hard resets did not work. Help!

    Been playin WWII for sometime now. Yesterday went on, after skipping beginning, screen goes black, music still plays. Uninstalled and re-download but still black screen. Anyone?

    you could try a quick power cycle, maybe that will help. hold the power button for 10 seconds while the console is on, it should shut down. then restart console and see if that helps.

    WWII - Screen goes black but can still hear the sound

    I’ve been having same issue for 2 weeks. I have the digital copy, so I deleted and reinstalled, still had same issue.

    Just tried the power cycle suggested in this thread and I’m finally in!

    I have had the same issue even returned and got a new game same issue. Couple of questions before I try this:

    1. Did you uninstall and then reinstall before the Power Cycle.

    2. Did you have the game in the console when you Power Cycled?

    I am having the exact same problem. And my Xbox live account ended recently but I have the game on CD, does the system think I need Live to play it?
