WWE2K15 Random Gameplay Stuttering

I am having issues with WWE2K15 on my Assassin's Creed Unity XBOX ONE Bundle console. I've been working with Xbox Support through Twitter but, no solutions have been found as of yet. WWE2K15 is the only XB1 game I own on disk.

My console was manufactured date is: 10-24-14.

I have re-installed the game, done several hard resets, unplugged the console for 5 minutes, checked for a console update (there are none pending) and switched the power mode to Energy Saving. Today, I took WWE2K15 back to the store and exchanged it for
a new copy. I then did a fresh install and hard reset after the install finished. The gameplay stuttering issue still persists.

I also did a Google search under "xbox stutter wwe2k15" & found links to other customers having this issue on the 2K forums. Their solution in the end was to replace the console.

Stuttering?

So, a tad bit irritated because I only bought an Xbox One really to play WWE2K15 and the game does not work. It keeps micro stuttering like crazy and keeps not counting the buttons I press on my controller. Is there a fix for this? I have the AC Bundle Xbox
One.

 

Star Wars blu ray stuttering

hi I am getting random stuttering in Star Wars blu ray. Is this an issue being looked at or do I have an defective console

 

I'm also having this same problem with wwe on the assassins creed bundle Xbox. Do you have this when playing any other game discs? I really don't want to exchange the system but it seems like that might be my only option.

 

WWE2K15 is the only game I own on disk for XB1 so, my ability to test has been limited.

In my game sessions, the stuttering only occurs during gameplay itself and not during cut-scenes, character entrances, or on in game menus,.

I also recorded a 43 minute live stream on Twitch of gameplay. The last match (3 vs 3) shows the most consistent stuttering.

Update

Per the suggestion of "NX" @XboxSupport03 on Twitter, I created an alternate profile on the XB1 and tested WWE2K15.

The stuttering issue during gameplay still occurs.

Does Xbox Support have any further suggestions? Should I enter a repair request and ship the console to have it repaired or replaced?

 

Update 1/02/14

As a test over the New Years holiday, I downloaded a few community created alternate attires for the existing characters in the game (Tyson Kid, Justin Gabriel, etc). When using those Alternate attires, the stuttering became more pronounced during gameplay.

Again I ask, does Xbox Support have any further suggestions for troubleshooting? Should I enter a repair request and ship the console to have it repaired or replaced?

 

2nd update for 1/02/15

After work today, I purchased EA's UFC game on disk. I installed and tested it. No stuttering occurs during gameplay. Stuttering also does not occur in the digital download of Assassin Creed 4. The issue occurs only in WWE2K15 and the fault lies with the
game and 2K.

I captured two videos from the UFC game to show that stuttering does not occur during gameplay.

I'm going to contact 2K and give them all the information gathered in this forum.

On a side note, XboxSupport03 on Twitter did a terrific job working with me on this issue. Kudos to them and a big thanks for all their help.

 

Good luck contacting 2k support all they care is that they took your money and are now working on next years wwe game. I'm sure they will fix the stuttering for the next years version. As well as put things back in that they left out on purpose.

 

yep this is only happening on WWE 2k15, I bought Forza Horizon 2(physical disc version) and I see no stuttering at all. Will just sell my copy of wwe or trade it in at Best buy because this is ridiculous.

 

I have the same problem. My other games work fine, but this one is pretty much unplayable. I'm worried I'll have problems with other games in the future, so maybe replacing the console is the best bet. I'm curious if anyone has any other solutions.

 

After testing out the XB1 with EA's UFC on disk, since my last post on 1/02 /15, I haven't had any issues at all. The moment I start playing WWE2K15, stuttering occurs. I down loaded AC4 and D4 (Free game with Gold). No stuttering issue.

Several threads on the 2K forums report other players having this issue. I also submitted a Email to 2K Support but haven't heard any response, which I am not surprised about as its been a common complaint regarding 2K.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, we've been dealing with a high number of requests over the holiday period.

I understand you're having an issue with stuttering and lagging in WWE 2K15 - sorry to hear about that! I'd like you to please try a few basic troubleshooting steps one last time to see if it helps the issue.

Try booting the game with your Internet connection disabled on your Xbox One.

Try clearing the cache: Shut down the system> unplug the console from the power source> wait 5 minutes> plug in and boot up.

Try playing your match with the commentary disabled .

Try re-installing the game completely.

Try booting the game on a different console.

Unfortunately, the issue seems to be isolated to specific consoles and is not disc-related. Thank you for the information concerning the A/C Bundle - it confirms what we are investigating, however we are not sure exactly how the console is affecting the
game at this point. Many thanks for your support and diligence in reporting the issue - it is greatly appreciated.
