    WWE Wrestlefest Xbox 360


    In 2013, a remake of the arcade game WWF Wrestlefest appeared to becoming to the Xbox 360 titled WWE Wrestlefest with an updated roster. I think there was even a trailer and screenshots on Xbox Live. But the game never released on the Xbox 360, does anyone know why?

    THQ lost the license and allegedly it was awful. There is also a lost RBI baseball unrelated to the current ones.

    One of the first things you learn when you work on games is that you’ve never heard of 2 out of three games that get greenlit and started, before you get to ones like this. Usually they’re killed for a reason.

    I for one am not happy about this. Now we have to worry about server closures since the license is technically going to 2K.

    Look at NBA 2K12. The online is already gone. For me WWE13 is the last WWE game I will be buying.

    Unless Wrestlefest somehow makes its way to the XBLA.

    I know not many people are going to agree with me but, WWE Allstars... hey, back in the day when I was a paperboy (back in the mid to late 80's) I had a paper route that included a final section which ended in a shopping mall... at the arcade; as such I
    grew up on WWF Superstars and Wrestlefest... and WWE Allstars reminded me so much of those two games, that so far I'm just loving it! Nostalgia does make a man feel young again!
