    WWE 2K20 exits when I create


    Hello. For weeks, I've been playing WWE 2K20 on offline mode. But last night, I was willing to create a Superstar but all it keeps doing is sending me back home. I've found out that it happened when it was New Years midnight and it affects most users.
    But I'm using offline because my cable is unpaid and my neighbor's WIFI is unstable. I've learned that for only PS4 users can set their time back to 2019, but since I have XBX, Is it safe for me to set my time and date back to 2019 if I'm on offline mode.
    Some people on media say it's impossible to do that on XBox so wanted to know if it's true.

    Kinda need some help here, confused. Thanks

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

    I'm pretty sure that you need to be online for you to create a player on WWE 2K20 so that the player you make syncs with 2K's databases through Xbox Live. You cannot manually set the time or date on the Xbox One. The time updates automatically based on the
    time zone that is set in the console's settings. I would recommend trying again once you are able to connect to Xbox Live. To confirm that you need to be online in order to create a player, please contact 2K support through here: https://support.2k.com/hc/requests/new

    2K is (supposedly) working on a fix for this issue, and no, you can't change your time settings on your Xbox One, since it updates time automatically wherever it is online.

    Well, thanks. At least I've done this twice this week cause I wanted to create costumes for only my characters while I was offline and it didn't let me. I had to change the date to 12/30/19 but kept the time the way it was while on offline mode. But now,
    I'm worried that when I get back online, Sync may go wrong. Unfortunately that won't happen no more. On to the next game I guess offline lol. I won't be playing or creating on 2K20 til I get proper WiFi and the game itself has been fixed.
