    You should have in big bold letters on the XBOX home page that Xbox Live is currently unavailable. Had to hunt for awhile to finally find a page that states it's unavailable. No wonder the kids hack you every other day.

    Seeing as you have found your way to the service alert page (support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status) my advice would be to keep checking in on it every 30 minutes as the tech team updates
    the status. Once the issue is remedied, you should have no further trouble. If you do still have issues once the problem has been resolved, please do let us know.
