Wrongfully Enforced...

So I was casually playing a game of Overwatch on the XboxOne and a match had been lost. Everybody had done well on the team and we all went our seperate ways...until a player by the name of [mod removed] messaged me talking about how garbage I was playing
the character that I did. I am not using any sort of slang here and I am in fact quoting him when he called me garbage and a child. I kindly responded “appreciate the constructive criticism” when he began to mock me with minor child-like insults... I had to
reaffirm him that talking badly of me isnt hurting my feelings and was in fact child-like to begin with. Suddenly, I then receive an message saying that I had been placed under the enforcement policy and banned from communications. So, im getting banned for
defending my own gameplay and calling out another player for acting childish? Hmph...

Gotcha! That brings up another question then... So, say I had no interaction with another user whatsoever both in game and out of game. Could they still report me for harassment or spam or anything like that and this still happen to me?

Have you got in touch with the enforcement team to see what was said 🤔

You should also note that bans aren't instantly dished out. Each report is investigated first, so your ban may have had nothing to do with this encounter, especially if it occurred immediately after the conversation

Ill try my best! Its just a bit hard sometimes when several people come to you calling you foul words just because you were trying to have fun! Im just more so upset that the one time I genuinely try to defend myself that Im the one who gets in trouble.
But, its alright I suppose, its only for a day... Coming home from college and having this happen is a real punch in the gut! Also, this is banworthy apparently(I did use the whole word):

"Still, i did my best dude. Dont be that [mod removed] going around telling people theyre garbo just cuz they didnt meet your expectations"

Again, I fully understand and accept the temporary suspension... I’m just so baffled that this is banworthy!
