Wrongful suspension from Xbox Live

At 7:13 PM tonight Central time, my account was placed on a two day suspension by Xbox Live Enforcement supposedly for Cheating and can't login to my console until the same time on January 27.

Here's where I find the suspension invalid:

In the past two weeks, I've done nothing more than play single player games, play the campaign mode on the first Killer Instinct game and watch TV using the Sling TV app. I haven't had time to play my multiplayer favorites like GTA V Online due to work.

How can they suspend somebody for doing nothing wrong? The allegation against my account is complete bupkis.

And yes, I've read several threads about this happening to numerous other users and they've done absolutely nothing wrong to warrant a suspension in the first place.

What's even worse is I'm not even allowed to put in for a case review, even though it was an account suspension. Where's the justice in that?

Wrongful Xbox live suspension.

My account has been wrongfully suspended for "cheating/hacking" I was in a match on Destiny, anyone that plays knows the servers aren't the best. I get spammed with game invites from someone on the enemy team. I'm talking 5min of game invite notifications.
He sends me a message saying I'm lag switching. Everyone in the game had a bad connection. But becaus I was doing relatively good. He reported me and I'm banned till the 15th and it says I'm not eligible for a case review someone please help here my side of
the story and get this ban lifted. The passed few months I've been getting banned for no reason and I'm done staying silent. If nothing is done. I will be going to psn. I'm not paying a monthly subscription for something I can't even play half the time.

here & file for a case review if eligible but you are responsible for your account & everything that happens on it.

 

24hour suspensions are usually for communications not gameplay offence

And they aren't appeal able because by the time they get back to you it will be over

And if you had read most of those I did nothing wrong you would know most are actually the users fault

Usually lately it's been because they retailiated or non enforcement issues like rep or.they think cursing in a m rated game allowed when. The rules state otherwise

It doesn't matter who started the fight you break the rules you break the rules

People don't use common sense which is 99.9% of the issuesissues

You are better off keeping your gaming clean and ignore those threads 80% they know they are guilty just think the end justify the means

You can throw a lot of buckets of salt on those stories

They are never cleanclean

Thwy watch fake YouTube videos on how pet works which is always fake

 

So my instance is different? Like I said, I've done nothing to deserve this 48 hour suspension.

PeoplePeople posts based on false myths on how the team actually works or they think retaliating to something makes them immun

And yes 24-48 hour is a communication suspension warning and not appealable

 

Any report filed against you needs to be thoroughly investigated first which takes time,you would of been suspended for something that happened several weeks ago or even longer.

Due to the length of the suspension you can't file for a case review & the enforcement team do not use the forums so there's really nothing anyone here can do i'm afraid.

Apparently - to ngocphi - you think your instance is different. Maybe he should actually read that you HAVEN'T even been on your system to play your multi-player games. In the meantime - he can take a break from his and repeat his ELA classes.

How about getting 10 suspensions since October 24, 2016 until today??? To me - it's ****!

I call customer service to find out why the **** my son is banned permanently and I find it completely unimaginable that XBOX LIVE does NOT have a phone number to Enforcement!!!

Maybe because they suspend and ban people with just a general **** message and then never give them an actually reason. How about sending a script or recording along with their stupid **** decision??? Then he can't even have ANY OF THEM **** REVIEWED!!!

They have a number - I can guarantee that!! They just aren't going to let it be known because they know how much **** people would be raising.

Also - NGOCPHI - parental controls are on these systems for a reason.

Do you realize how many ADULTS are on the game systems??

If a parent doesn't want their kid hearing things - learn how to operate and use what they allow their kids to, and use the **** parental controls!!!!

Yeah - Xbox's TOC might state no profanity allowed - but - SERIOUSLY - if your kid is playing a game that is "M" rated...I'm sure they are hearing PLENTY of it and seeing nudity right along with it!!

Maybe also - if the damn goody adults don't want to hear any cussing - USE YOUR OPTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE NOW WHEN YOU OPEN PLAY!!!

Don't jump to conclusions that all of these people are GUILTY!

My son got suspended ONE time that is justified (we'll agree to that) - but this long **** list after that - **** NO!

Then - I'm being told that he'll forfeit any subscriptions (which he is not even in a complete month of his 12 months!!!) and any digital content. Xbox is **** CRAZY if they think that is going to happen.

Do you know how many thousands of dollars in games and digital content is on that system??? Let's also not include the cost of the damn systems (yeah - SYSTEMS - because I have three of these damn things in my house)!!! NO MORE MONEY FROM ME THOUGH!!!



Someone is going to get in touch with me - or - they aren't going to like it!

It's **** gaming - people need to get off their high horses and either ignore or BLOCK IT!

I have a good feeling he is being reported by the same little **** that reported him when he received his first suspension!

What's bad is that **** started with HIM - but then reports him!!

If my son is in a **** PRIVATE PARTY with his friends from RIGHT WHERE WE LIVE and they want to ban him - IT'S **** ****!!!

I feel that's invading all their PRIVACY!!!

It's called - putting users off and giving them the run around. It's **** and I'm getting really pissed at the fact that these ENFORCEMENT **** are sitting behind a screen and STEALING thousands of dollars from ME by banning my son and forfeiting his account!!!

His first suspension came through 20 minutes after that little **** was arguing with him. So - I'm going to be told it takes weeks or several days for a suspension to come through?? ****!!

NOW - since that day - every time his 14 days are up - he's on for about 4-6 days and BOOM there is another 14 day suspension! This has been going on since October! If he is always in a
PRIVATE PARTY with his couple of friends from the neighborhood answer these questions -

Is Xbox spying on these kids with their built in mics?? If so - that is a
HUGE NO NO!! No one invades my son's privacy. That is what each one of these boys' parents are home for!!

Why would he be constantly getting these suspensions??? It isn't his friends turning him in! Two of them are getting them also!

None of these boys are harassing or threatening each other or anyone else. Cussing - well yeah!! So **** what!! It isn't Xbox's concern if they are in a PRIVATE PARTY! Xbox didn't birth or raise my kids!! They are in a PRIVATE PARTY with
each other and all of them DO it. I know more adults with these systems than kids these days. Xbox's TOC might say no profanity - but if they are in a PRIVATE PARTY - they shouldn't do or say a **** thing about it!!!

If the **** in ENFORCEMENT do such a thorough investigation into each report -
why is my son not getting a detailed reason OR actual answer to these suspensions?? All he is getting is a general wording - which seems to be a part taken from the TOC!

There are options available for users now - they need to USE them and quit being such big **** babies and reporting people!

If parents don't want their kids hearing certain things - they need to learn how to use what they give/buy for their kid(s) to use - and use the **** parental controls and SHUT THE **** UP!

Guess that would leave the **** in "ENFORCEMENT" with nothing to do though, huh???

I WANT SOME PERSON FROM THIS "SO CALLED" ENFORCEMENT TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME ASAP!!

It's sure is strange that my other two boys play all the same exact things, in the same way and do the SAME thing - NONE of this has happened to them!!!

Instead of going based on your myths why not read the info you are provided enforcement.xbox.com is the only method to contact them

A parental controls don't control microphone or attempts to bypass the word filter

The rules are the same on all consoles

You must be rated e for everyone

B they don't spy when you are reported you get the msgs and conversation vreviewed not by one but by many teams

You would know this if you had read the terms of use and followed the link to the enforcement site

And no there is no contact number no service would allow it

One you would never get thru because every hacker would spam it trying to get the ban lifted

Controlled forums ior chat is the best method

This is used by all online servives

2 perm bans aren't one instance

And they have every right to enforce their rules it's called private authority upheld by the Supreme Court

Freedom of speech only applies to government

And as long as you don't impeded on the right of others henfe why someone can kick you off their property if you break their rules

 

Anyone can spam report you it doesn't matter it is worse for the reporter then your son if all are fake

That's the myth you should really read the enforcement site for

When a false report comes in it gets trashed binrd and their accuracy score drops for future reports

Valid reports are reviewed and validated and then sent to another team for review

Punishment can happen one after the other depends on how many offences and severity occured

Now stuff like multiple violations can lead to a perm ban

Or severe violations can lead to a perm ban like harassment or marketplace theft or.multiple forced.name.changes

Maybe it is time to.teach him about the code of conduct it's pretty standard accross most game Services if you think party chat is private it is however if one said person reports him guess what it gets reviewed and punishment is dealt out if needed

Even in that case, there's nothing that would have warranted a suspension for any activity up to two months ago. There's just absolutely no evidence.

That's the problem and it shouldn't be allowed in the first place.

In my case, if there's absolutely no evidence supporting what I consider to be an erroneous and false claim - even for activity dating back a month, this suspension shouldn't have happened. But then again, Enforcement will just believe ANY stupid claim based
on a whim or someone who chooses to report players en masse just because they want to.

Those are fraudulent claims and they should have no weight in this community.

I agree with "thebrokenvirgo" in this one regard: while Enforcement claims your only method to contact them is through their website, which might as well have the validity of throwing wet toilet paper on a neighbor's tree as a prank. Their resources on that
site is a joke. What's the point of appealing when you're not even allowed a say in the process to determine whether a report is valid or not? Their investigation process is severely flawed. But back on topic: if they really want to avoid an exodus of customers
going to (or going back to) Sony and PlayStation, then they need other methods of contact, because the Enforcement website no longer suffices. Xbox just doesn't give a damn about their loyal customers. I've been on Xbox Live since 2009 and this has been my
ONLY suspension in what will soon be 8 years on what is obviously a bogus claim with absolutely no validity.

If they can't make this right, I have half a nerve to sue Microsoft and Xbox.
