WRONG XBOX PROFILE DOWNLOADED

I deleted my Xbox profile "Purrp1337" due to having Xbox live connection errors, when I tried to redownload my profile it downloaded a profile "" this is not my profile, I entered my correct email address and correct password, I even tried
redownloading the profile over and over and it kept downloading the wrong profile, please help me recover my original profile because it has my billing info on it and I'm paying monthly to play on that account

xbox downloaded wrong profile !

My xbox gamertag is "" and today I used the download profile feature on my xbox. I entered my email and password, and it proceeded to download a profile named "FramedVermin6" which is not mine and as far as I can tell should not be accessable
to me. Retrying this actually downloaded my own profile, but I still have the one that does not belong to me.

Hey there Da! With both of these accounts on your console, can you check the WLID it shows on these account under Account Management for me. Are these exactly the same, or is there a slight variation between them, possibly a single character like ".co" instead
of ".com"? Let me know what you find out, thanks!

Sorry to hear it. It sounds as though you may have accidentally created another gamertag overtop your existing one. Please try the steps at the link below to move the new gamertag to another email address.

If he logs into his profile and goes to Settings and then Home Xbox, he should be able to mark the console as his Home Xbox.

This will allow all profiles on that console to play the game.

Hey there, a lot of the time this happens you have actually used the wrong email address as I believe it's impossible to have two gamertags on the one email.

To find the correct email address if you can still sign-in to the profile on the console through the auto sign-in feature you can see the email in the top right corner of the screen:
