Wrong Xbox Account Connected to my Email

The account that I am currently logged in as is not my correct Xbox account. I've been trying to figure out who this account is and why it is connected to my email. I've tried resetting my password, I've looked through many security pages across both the
microsoft and xbox pages, and have no clue how this has happened. Can anyone offer me support?

My actual gamertag is meant to be MidnightYK, but for some reason it is as you see here, . Which...I never would choose as a name and wonder how it got connected to my email.

When I try to connect my Xbox account to my Microsoft account, I always get the wrong xbox account

even tho I have the same email. And when I try with my different emails it says that the email doesn’t

exist. My microsoft account is connected with the wrong xbox account, what do I do to fix this. It says

that I’m WordlyAnt15 but i’m actually

How can I sell my xbox one account safely?

I have it linked to my main email, which also is linked to my bank account and other important stuff. I will be changing the email for the non-xbox related stuff, but can that some how still cause problems? Or would it be easier to just change my xbox accounts email to something separate so it isn't also connected to my important stuff.

I am planning on selling my xbox one, with everything including the account since I have no use for it anymore. I am selling it though offerup, or those meet up apps. I'm just a bit worried they might have access to something like my credit card somehow, or my cousins account since I am able to log into his account through the console.

It sounds as though you may have accidentally created a gamertag overtop your existing one. Please follow the steps at the link below to move the gamertag you're posting with to another email address. You'll need to create a dummy email to move it to prior
to following the steps.

I was never emailed that this reply, so this took a while to get to (and the problem somehow, I'm not sure how, solved itself but is popping up again)

and I clicked the link, and instantly step one: log onto your XBOX account on the xbox. I physically cannot do that. I try to log in with the saved Email and password, and yet it claims it cant log me in. This issue has popped up multiple times and I'm
getting quite annoyed at it. I have no idea HOW my account ever got linked to this account, and I want it GONE. I need to know what to do, and I want to talk to someone who I can consistently talk to, and not be linked to a "how to do this" link, only to
have it not help at all...I've not had good customer service with microsoft about this issue in the past, and I just want this whole account situation gone from my life.

Sorry to hear about the troubles. Oftentimes, standard issue Gamertags are indicative of the incorrect email account being used to sign in. Some people often use the same email handle on different email domains. For example: [handle]@hotmail.com and again
[handle]@gmail.com. Please double check that you are using the correct email you used to create your MidnightYK Gamertag.
