Wrong tenure

Discus and support Wrong tenure in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Recently my tenure on the XB1 updated to 9 years, however on the 360 it's only showing as 8. Anybody know why this might be?     Wrong tenure


    Recently my tenure on the XB1 updated to 9 years, however on the 360 it's only showing as 8. Anybody know why this might be?

    Hello there!



    There has a been a slight update in regards to tenure, as you can see by Miss Kleo's updates

    HERE    , tenure is only accounted for on your profile in the time that you are gold. So you may have owned a console, and a silver account for 2 years, then upgraded to gold membership for a year your tenure will only be '1' after the first year of Xbox LIVE
    Gold membership! Here is just a little quote from the latest post on that thread "For your first year of Xbox LIVE Gold you will see a '0' and increase to '1' year of tenure when that year is up! For example, if you've had Xbox LIVE Gold for 3 years
    and 6 months, you'll see a tenure of '3' next to your Gamertag."

    Probably something to do with the Sync is all I can think of. Try redownlaoding your profile on Both consoles.

    That did happen to me in the past, but in those cases no tenure showed at all for a while. Now my tenure does show, but it is wrong, and it's been wrong for over a month now.

    Tenure still wrong since January

    Many people's tenure that dropped dropped for a reason. Before, it was displaying wrong tenures as it was facturing in silver time, so theres a good chance the tenure you have now is correct.

    Hi again, I honestly hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I can assure you that 5 is the correct tenure. Some folks were seeing incorrect tenure previously- time accrued while the account did not have a Gold Membership was adding to that tenure erroneously.
    We know how seriously you all take tenure, which is why we have corrected it now. The good news I can give you at least, is that it looks like you're getting really close to 6, so you should be seeing it go up in not-too-long!
