Wrong tenure icon number

Were you using any type of 3rd party software?

Hey guys any news ? My tenure still showing the wrong number :/

That's from Major Nelson and it's pretty old.

Here's what's on the Microsoft Support site:

The tenure icon that is displayed is based on the total time that your Microsoft billing account is associated with an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

If your subscription is canceled and downgraded to Free, your tenure will pick up where it left off the next time that you subscribe.

Tenure is displayed as the number of years on the service.

Consider the following scenario. You are an Xbox LIVE Gold subscriber who signed up in January 2005. In January 2007, you chose not to renew your Xbox LIVE subscription. Instead, you became a Free member. In January 2009, you renew your Gold membership by
purchasing an annual subscription.

In this scenario, the count for the tenure icon is "2." The tenure icon will be updated to display "3" when your most recent cycle is completed in January 2010.

you have to be gold to have a tenure icon if you use game sharing and the other guy have the gold you wont get the tenure icon you need to have your own gold subscription

EDIT: the tenure won't reset when you renew your gold subscription

Actually Lost your wrong This person could recieve help from Miss Ermine and her team in the support section. They are simply in the wrkng section.

But i guarantee the tenure on the OPs profile is correct.

The tenure is no longer the number of years you have been on xbox live. The tenure number now corresponds to the number of accumulative years the profile has been Gold.

My account active and gold since 2008 and it displays a 6.

OPs profile avtive since 2008 gold for only 2 of those years.
