Even if my region is under embargo? I can still follow the above mentioned steps

 

If you are under embargo you take the risk upon yourself.

Its a banworthy offence to connect to any online service from.an embargoed country

Thats enforced by your countries own laws

Alaso therr id a reason why noine can offically tell you those steps

Subscription codes are region locked

So if you buy one out of region it has to match your account region

Thats upto you

Services ate geoip based

So no video no music and no xbox 360 games with gold

 

Easy which country do you live.in

There is only a couple.countries that are

For.obvious reasons

There is a difference between importing and supooirting a regiom

Anyone can import.a console doesnt mwan they are supported.you have.to.ask your importer for.that

Syria doesnt have any warranty services hence why you cannot contact.xbox support.in syria

Iraq.had. No offical support for.ps3 yet they were available due to importers even though they were on the banned list

Just becsuse someone breaks the laws doesnt mean you can ask for.support.thats like asking a car dealership for.repairs even though your car was stolen

Any country without support cannot be provided support without their govrnrment

To get warranty in a supported region you can ship within your coumtry

But with non supported region you have to ship to someone outside and claim warranty from there completely different from supported countries

I've moved to Iran from Australia last year and this problem occurred to me about 2 o 3 months ago. The agent's solution worked out very well for me; but my son - who almost owns the Xbox - accidentally changed the DNS settings and now here I am!

The solution apparently works for whoever has the same issue; the question is "what are the valid DNS's now?"

Hello everyone

I tried to install a new console I brought to Iran for my little bro from Aus a couple of weeks ago and I now I am here. Here are some issues I want to point out clearly.

First of all, I read all the posts of this tread and I should say it is a shame on the XBF administration leaving this thread in replying frustrated Iranian Xbox users. At least you could continue apologising for such inconvenience happened to us.

In addition, the big question is why should MS stopped this service all of a sudden and without any notice? You should advertise such changes to this service a few weeks in advanced so that I and other people who planned to by a gaming console within the
last month could decide wisely. The return of US-IR government sanctions has been advertised several months ago. Why did nt Xbox users in Iran receive an email in their inbox explaining the situation going to happen?

Moreover, the US-IR sanctions target tradings and not the pre-existing services; meaning that we wont be able to shop from MS online store anymore but we should still be able to update the Windows versions we paid for months and years in advanced. What happens
here is banning a free service which is a part of the purchased console (i.e. signing in to the personal account).

This is totally unfair. Currently my brand console became totally useless and only can be used as a chopping board. I will record and upload a video in YouTube soon, telling everyone how can they use a Xbox console as a chopping board. Me and every other
Iranian with similar problem expect a corresponding MS person (not an unauthorised person writing with hatred) answer this post and clarify the MS management's policy in regard to this issue.

Please remove politics from the game world. We paid for xbox. Please solve the xbox live problem in Iran.

 

You can you just cant do it via yoir xbox

If you arwnt in a supported region You cannot access video music or online services regardless of region

Ms may not export to non supported regions or embargoed as the support person mentioned

If you got it feom a NON OFFICAL store you have to take the import with them

Though really not sure what you going ro do since if you are in a non xbox live region

Servicea are ip based

We cannot tell you how to get service in non supported eregions

You can google it on your own and take the risk keep in MIND subscription codea are region specific

And video and music and somw games DO check for geoip so some services may not be available

Thats the risk you take

If you are in an embargoed region

You run the risk of having an expensive door stop regardless of console playatation nintendo or xbox

As they do ban for accessing from.embargowd regions

 

I am also getting this error code in Iran.

I have paid for the games and the Xbox live gold and gamepass membership with this high price in Iran and i cant even sign in to my account anymore. Great

 

We need the exact error

If it is due to downloading 360 games well no you dont qualify for it you only are garenteed service if you follow the rules

Since you are in a non supported and an embargoed region

It doesnt matter if you paid for service.you are breaking your own countries laws only government approved services since xbox nor any other console has license to operatr in iran you are infact breaking the law

And the terms of service

You took the risk upon yourself in using an unauthorized servvie in a non supootrted country
