Wrong region by Gold Marketplace?

I have an original german xbox 360, and till last week used a german Live account. After some issues contacting the xbox support, I receive the sugestion to change to a Brazilian account. Then I try to play the Mirror's Edge downloaded from Brazilian Live
Marketplace, but it says "wrong region". Has the digital content also region restriction?

You've got that the wrong way around. Gold subs are region free, points are region locked.

Since that is not a rewards program issue, this is the wrong forum. Region locking was put in place by publishers, not Microsoft. So unfortunately there are games that are not available in all regions and the terms and conditions for the Games with Gold
offer does mention that.

 

In order to claim the game your region should be set in the same place where your console is physically located or the difference among regions will cause the issue you are experiencing.

 

I am living in Brazil, so my account is in the same region where the console is located. Just the console layer is for Europe blocked. I also purchase the Forza Horizon and it Works, but as I tried to play Mirror's Edge said "wrong region".

Make sure that the region for your Xbox 360 console is set to match where you're currently located. You can check this at account.microsoft.com

If you do see any discrepancies with your region, here a troubleshooting guide on how to change your region. However,
it will not transfer money between regions. Be sure to spend the money in your Microsoft account before you change your account location.

Hi there! My console and live account are in the same region, both Brazil. I did 'nt know that the digital content is for region blocked. It looks that I 'm not able to play Brazilian content in my german console.

That is hard coded into.the console

What you are talking about is the locale not the region of your console

The region is in the back of the console and cannot be changed

 

Sometimes your country is wrong at xbox.com. All you have to do is log in and then check the bottom left of the page. If the country is wrong just click on it then select the right country (Brazil).

Its amazing what this little country fault can cause especially when the country often defaults to another by itself.

After you check and set the country on the computer - try the game on the console again.
