wrong payment, how can i get refund?

Hello,

i just bought a game that I have already bought at another region. So how can i get refund as your refund page can not be opened. It shows that something wrong happened to this page.

I really hope you can help me with that.

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you would like to request a refund for a game. The ambassadors, moderators and volunteer moderators do not have the ability to manage the billing section of a user's Microsoft account. We recommend

requesting a refund through the Xbox website. If the website is not loading correctly, we suggest launching the web page on a different browser or device. We hope this information helps

You will have to try again to submit for a refund.

Try to use a different browser, or you can try to open your current browser In-Private mode.

If you still have issue in the
refund web page, go directly to
refund web-form. You will need your order ID, you will find it on
Orders History. make sure that you are signed into the account that has the purchase.

I don't think that would be how they would go about it. They might refund erroneous charges, but they would just refund that to the payment method used. I would recommend visiting
your Microsoft Account page
and clicking on Payments & Billing > Order History and check there on what orders were placed and what you were charged. If there are any that are wrong, each order has a "Get order help" link under it that will take you to a page that best describes how
to get in touch with the billing department support to request a refund for your purchase.

Just to clarify, how did they take the money "out of wrong" account when you select what account to use online? I use PayPal all the time and it always gives me an option to select the payment method. In fact, with PayPal, unlike banks, companies don't charge
them but rather PayPal initiates payments, that's why you always get redirected to PayPal to complete a sale.

Not commenting on why a refund is taking so long, but the wrong charge was not Microsoft's fault, maybe PayPal messed up. I recommend contacting PayPal because whatever the case is, they can help.
