    Two days ago I reformatted my drive and did a clean install of Windows 11 Home. When I logged into my windows account after the install, I mistakenly created a new account, when I believed I was only creating a new avatar for myself.

    I do not want to use this account and would like to have my old account back. The old account is associated with my Microsoft Flightsim 2020 and 2024 games, my Microsoft Flight simulator Forum account and my Microsoft Solitaire and Casual games account, where I had reached level 1000+ on one particular version of solitaire (after many years and over 18,000 games played). I've been a MS flight sim user/enthusiast since the late 1980's.

    I have searched in vain for a way to speak (or live text-chat) with a real person who can assist. This is apparently not possible. I have tried numerous times through https://support.microsoft.com to find a solution. Texting with an AI chat bot has not helped. I have exhausted all possible avenues on this website.

    I did a search to see if it was possible to have 2 accounts and log into and out to each. It seems that it is, but I cannot discover how.

    The Xbox avatar ID for the account I wish to recover is . It is associated with my other gmail address (which I will not post here for security reasons). Currently I am only able to log in with "Marble Wolf 82" - the new account.

    I would greatly appreciate any (non-AI) help in what should be a simple matter.

    You can change the primary email associated with the account. That may help you guys in the future.

    Sadly the Items purchased are tied to the account. because this was a Fortnite bundle it wouldn't be eligible for family share. The Skins are tied to the account as well.

    I've done a similar thing with my Kids accounts. Just had to make sure I was more careful the next time. Sorry this happened.

    Sorry to hear it. Normally DLC that involves shaders or V-bucks such as the EON bundle cannot be transferred from one account to the other nor can it be shared to another account.

    Some DLC can be shared, however there are exceptions and I suspect that this is one such case where the exception would apply as it would mean one parent could buy skins for multiple kids for example.
