    Wrong gamer tag


    logged into my Microsoft Xbox account and it's giving me the wrong gamer tag and not bringing up any of my friends or achievements. Wrong picture, wrong everything except email

    Do you still have access to your proper GT on the console? If so, go into Account Management, under WLID, and see what WLID it says is attached to the account. Is this the same WLID you used to log into Xbox.com? As for the Black Ops issue, you may have
    to contact the developers for help with that.

    wrong game tag!

    Your Email account is linked to your Gamertag (Xbox live account) that of which you may be using the wrong email or the account associated with the email may have changed. I would contact the xbox support team via Phone and tell them your real Gamertag and
    see which email account it is linked to.

    Hello again!

    I know this feeling very well as I've run into the same problem with an old account. If you have updated security information in the account then you should have no problems recovering your account. If you are still unable to recover your email address but
    you remember your Gamertag then I would advise that you
    Contact Xbox Support     to see if they can assist you further.

    Hey there Dylan,

    Sorry to hear you are running into this problem. Now if you have signed into the account and it pulled up a different gamertag then you have simply logged in using the incorrect email address.

    When you restarted the console it removed your accounts? or did you Factory reset (Keep games & apps)?

    Go ahead and take a look at the following support article so that you can attempt to recover your original account.
