    wrong game format - how to resolve?


    I cocked up on a birthday present and bought a SIMS expansion pack for Xbox when it should have been PC. the recipient opened the link and used the code before realising that they would not be able to use it. I can't get a refund as the code has been redeemed, but sibling has an Xbox - is there a way to transfer the game to them?

    Unfortunately not, games cannot be transferred from one account to another!

    the account where the code was redeemed is my daughter's - she dosn't have an Xbox hance the problem- so i take it I would have to make her brother's the home xbox ( he is a different account) ?

    i am in no way tech savvy ( could have user tested on the basis that if i can do it anyone can), so apologies if i picked you up wrongly

    You can try to share the item with your sibling. To do that:

    1. Sign in with the account that purchased the item to your sibling's Xbox console.
    2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalisation, and then select My home Xbox.
    4. select Make this my home Xbox'.

    It can't be used ( no Xbox) - my mistake as ordered in haste when origin site link kept crashing

    The recipient is on my fanily account - if i add sibling to family account is it activatable for them?
