Wrong cyberpunk copy

I seem to have bought the japanese version of cyberpunk 2077. This version is censored and missing content. Will changing my location to the US fix it? Or will i need to buy the US version as well?

It is where you bought it, and as far as the system is concerned they are different games. Youll need to buy it again.

They have now ended the returns policy on cyberpunk

that means if you have owned for 14 days then no refunds.

Refunding has been available up until the other day, that period has now passed.

There isn't any specific information regarding Cyberpunk and which platform it will be released on, but Xbox is working on making all Xbox One games work on Scarlett as stated in their E3 briefing, and so if Cyberpunk releases on Xbox One it should work
on Scarlett. If Cyberpunk launches on Scarlett then I doubt it will work on the current Xbox Ones (but I could be wrong, it may launch on both).

I imagine that any upgrades to the game will be free updates, to everyone, except for graphical ones which will also be free, but only available for the applicable system, so the X won't get 8K updates since it can't do 8K for example.

Best to wait until we get some more information on Cyberpunk and the platforms it will be launching on.
