    Hey all, ive had this problem for awhile now. I went to sign into my account like every other day and i couldnt connect to xbox live, so i tried the normal things like resetting my router and it said i was connected to the internet so I tried to sign into
    my profile and it kept saying cant connect to xbox live, so i deleted my profile off the console (thinking that could he the problem) and now when I try to redownload the profile, i put the right password and email in and it starts to download then stops and
    says “error these are the wrong credentials”.

    And it keeps doing this everytime

    Ive:

    changed my password

    Turned off TFA

    cleared my cache

    reset my xbox

    deleted the xbox live update and reinstalled it

    And still after ive done all that Ive had no luck in downloading it. Can someone please help?

    Yep, tried redownloading my profile but when i do, it either says cannot connect to xbox live, or it is connected to xbox live and only partly downloads the profile, or tells me there is a problem with my credentials.

    There cant be anything wrong with my xbox live account as i am still gaming on the same console, through xbox live, and downloading xbox live gold games. Ive even been on the website and checked credentials and see nothing wrong with my account.

    hello sophie, sorry to hear about your reset issue. Could you try logging on to live.com with your xbox credentials and change either your email or password and then try redownloading your profile with the new credentials. Seems like your system lost contact
    somehow.
