Wrong cover art shown for my games section on dashboard!

Hi, There have been lots of problems with the Cover art on games like COD Black Ops 2 and others. Microsoft are looking into it and will be dealt with. Thank You.

 

They've been "dealing with it" for a while. Same as the broken pins that support has been "dealing with" for about 3 years now? Telling people to clear their cache is useless because your console recreates cache every time it boots up. Both in the My Games
menu and on the home dashboard screen. I hope they get their online services sorted sooner rather than later. It's bad enough that dashboard performance is atrocious, but at least it works properly...or used to anyway.

 

The issue still persists. It's on Microsoft's end, and can resolve itself when rebooting the console. Is it so much to ask for dashboard software that works properly? God knows we're not getting our money's worth on this early 2000 hardware.

 

Castle Storm is displayed as Angry Birds Space (WP) for me, pretty odd i´ve never seen anything like that in years.

 

Yeah, had the Angry Birds thing - only a couple of titles this time though, which is a huge improvement.

When it first appeared, the clearing cache fix didn't work initially, but after a few days of periodical cache-clearing, it eventually did (presumably after MS noticed there was an issue).

So, it seems the thing to do every time this increasingly common occurrence happens is to just wait a few days and keep trying the clearing cache fix.

Which is fine, but I would like to know why this keeps happening: I mean, it's only a small thing - it doesn't really affect the gaming experience in a major way - but it is nevertheless very annoying.

New Month, new cover Art. This time Project Spark.

Unbelievable and very pathetic.

 

I have a wonky tree as my game tile for half a dozen disc based games.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one affected!

Just before the weekend the 'Project Spark' graphic strangely began appearing in my 360's dashboard too. Currently it's replaced the cover art for FEZ, N+ and Trials HD. The Project Sparks image is also intermittently popping up when I insert physical disc
based games, replacing their thumbnail in my Home menu.

I called Microsoft to report the issue (definitely a server side issue, I did various tests!) but the agents I spoke with were totally clueless and blamed my console.

Clearing my cache has been ineffective so far. I hope this is resolved soon.
