Wrong cover art shown for my games section on dashboard!

It's a picture. A thumbnail. Considering how many problems there are affecting the dashboard software (great engineers they have there)...It's not on their priority list.

I'm not asking you to uninstall all content and re-install it currently, just want to try one piece to see if there's any change for it. I'm not seeing this reflecting on any of the consoles here, so I'm not able to try myself like with the Lords & Kingdoms
issue form before. Thanks for bearing with me.

I seem to have resolved the issue on my console by using the Lords & Kingdoms fix from last time (didn't work a few days ago, but seems to have worked today).

To reiterate, this involves clearing the HDD cache (MS recommended 3 times, but once should be sufficient really), powering down the console and allowing it to shut down completely (leave it off for a minute or so) before switching it back on.

Everything seems to be OK right now. Will keep you posted if this changes over the next few days.

Tried Glynniepoos' method of resolving the issue this morning and so far it's working. The two games I had issues with have their original thumbnails back after trying it out. Won't guarantee it'll work for everyone, but it has for me and hopefully won't
run into it again anytime soon.

 

cache clearing does not work.

Cuthred, just to make sure, did you clear cache 3 times in a row as described or only once?

 

aftrer three times clearing the cache the cover art was again back to normal.

 

Everything is back working for me too after clearing the cache.

Jesus MS, now it's showing Angry Birds Space for some covers? Seriously, how difficult can this be to fix? What are you doing?????

 

Same issue here, currently my games Castle Crashers, FEZ, and Iron Brigade are showing up with various Windows Phone games as their tile pictures (Angry Birds, Angry Birds Space, etc.).

 

...as an amendment to my prior message - clearing the cache 3x did nothing to reset the pictures to display properly.

 

cache trick did not work for me either.

 

This is an issue that has been ongoing for a long time. It happens intermittently, and gets 'fixed' on its own. I'm disappointed by Microsoft (again) when it comes to fixing an issue in their software. How long has it been since this was first reported?
Months it seems like.
