Wrong card used on transaction

My brother was buying a gift for our other brother as an early christmas present. He was supposed to use two different cards: his microsoft account balance, and a gift card he owns. However, the second card (gift card) got replaced with my debit card (saves
in his acct for convenience) in the transaction, and it immediately took the money out of my account. I want my money back, but trying to get a refund on the phone from Microsoft is like trying to pull teeth. How do I get my money back?

Hey bro, I got the money back and also use the bank account which has international transactions is set to on, also contact your bank for refund. I prefer using debit card, when I got my refund I used my debit card to buy it again. I used SBI card it has international transactions on. You can turn on your international transactions from mobile banking

Get. Currency card or use the creditcard to buy currency card

Or continue burning your money on transaction and activation fees and hope you hit a online friendly card

Vanilla cards are usually safe but again you take the risk

80% of the time.prepaid cards actively block reoccuring purchases and online transactions

You usually will have to login into their website and register billing info and enable online transactions if they have the option

and hope they dont block it

Yes, if there was a problem during the transaction, Microsoft would send an email informing you that something went wrong. It's really strange, but I believe this happened due to some bug in the Microsoft system, so since the transaction was deducted from your card and the subscription is active, I believe you can rest assured about this.
