WRC - no wheel support XBOX ONE

I just purchased WRC (World Rally Championship) for my XBOX ONE direct download from Microsoft. Nowhere did it mention there is no support for wheel controllers. I have a race seat with Logitech Wheel system so basically I just wasted $60. Since Microsoft
neglected to mention this small but critical detail I want them to refund my $$.

Great wheel. I have the GT2 wheel, although I find the force feedback to be useless with TDFL but the wheel is great on Forza & Dirt. What pedals did you go with? With F1, Forza horizons, WRC 3 coming in the next few months its a great time to get a wheel!

 

WRC 5 dated for October 16

Bigben Interactive, and French racing game developer Kylotonn Games today announced that October 16th, 2015 will be the release date of WRC 5, the official 2015 FIA World Rally Championship game.

WRC 5 is scheduled for release in the UK on October 16th, 2015 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC.

WRC 5 will be the first rally game to land on new-generation consoles, as well as previous generation, and will offer players the chance to wear the gloves of all the WRC drivers as well as those from the WRC 2 and Junior WRC support categories.

 

Do some research before you buy something, I agree it's absolutely stupid that the Devs did not add support yet .... but that's their fault not MS. It's a feature that should be in the game at launch and was supposed to be there its unacceptable you can

Please note Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 racing wheels are not officially supported at the moment.

I sent them a support request for wheel support .... I did not send them my money yet though. Good Luck.

 

Not Microsoft's fault. That would be like me blaming microsoft for a playstation controller not working on Madden 16 for xbox one. Just have to do research before you buy.

 

Yup - my fault for certain. Too quick to click "BUY" when I should know better.

Still - this is 2015 - a lot of wheel controller drivers out there yet WRC puts out a rally driving sim with no wheel support. Obviously the finance department needed revenue even if the developers weren't ready. Guess this is really a complaint that belongs
on the WRC website.

 

If I were you I would ring Xbox Support and ask for a refund. I think you have reasonable grounds.

It's not "like blaming MS for a playstation controller not working...on Xbox One".

The wheel is a peripheral for the Xbox One. It's reasonable to assume it would work. However, you can also use the gamepad, so MS might say tough.

 

I stopped buying those official WRC games after the third one. I think the second one was best. Then it went in the wrong direction. The best new rally game right now is DiRT Rally on Steam Early Access. Codemasters is doing a real simulation this time.
It might finally be a better rally game than Richard Burns Rally.
