WRC 5 announced for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita and PC

2 Rally games coming this year, I'm happy!

After months of rumours, WRC 5 has finally been officially announced for release this Autumn on all current-gen and last-gen platforms: that's PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC and PS Vita. This of course marks the WRC game series' first venture onto current-gen
consoles following the last four iterations developed by Milestone, who are now working on

Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo after BigBen Interactive acquired the license.

Following Milestone, WRC 5 has been handed over to Kylotonn Games, a French developer whose previous releases include Motorcycle Club and Truck Racer.

WRC 5 will run on Kylotonn's in-house Kt Engine HD, which is showcased in a teaser trailer providing a glimpse of some of the new stages that will be featured. - See more at:

WRC 5 dated for October 16

Bigben Interactive, and French racing game developer Kylotonn Games today announced that October 16th, 2015 will be the release date of WRC 5, the official 2015 FIA World Rally Championship game.

WRC 5 is scheduled for release in the UK on October 16th, 2015 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC.

WRC 5 will be the first rally game to land on new-generation consoles, as well as previous generation, and will offer players the chance to wear the gloves of all the WRC drivers as well as those from the WRC 2 and Junior WRC support categories.

 

How many consoles do you have include gaming pc and handled

iPad, PS3, PS Vita and Xbox 360.

And who knows, maybe one or two more driving games announced. I have read rumours that there still is some sort of Destruction Derby style game planned but it's gone quiet at the moment.

And Mr Badger, as I know your a bit of a novice when it comes to racing, real life and games, you need not fear, I shall be there to give you some tips ;-p

 

I'd hedge my bets on Seb Loeb being the better Rally game seeing as Milestone were creating better WRC games each year. Can't beat a good Rally game!

VG tweeted today that there is talk of a Project Cars demo in February, fingers crossed!

 

great news.all we need now is dirt 4 and i will be in gaming paradise.

 

Well Codemasters apparently will be making some announcements in February regarding 2015 line up, good chance DiRT 4 will be in there.

( hopefully without the Gymkhana events lol )

 

Loved the original Dirt but wasn't keen on the follow ups and Destruction Derby got battered to death back in the day so anything like that would be most welcome!!
