Is there anyway around using user name or putting it in a certain way to get the wifi working. I have an ether net cable connected to it and it still doesn't work.

    WPA2 -PSK?

So, I know that WPA2 -AES can't use Xbox Live but can WPA2 -PSK?

When I tried to connect to my wireless network, it wouldn't accept my password (even though it was correct). I hope you can help!

Thank you for your time! <3

What router do you have? You will need to gain access to it in order to change things about. Are you able to do this?

This is potentially a dumb question, but have you tried cancelling or backing out when it's asking you for a password? If you're connected by Ethernet, it absolutely should be connecting to the network - it might be "simultaneously" trying to connect to
both, but if you back out of the wireless connection attempt, I'm guessing your Ethernet connection should still be active?

Here's something else to try - Press Menu, then go to Settings. From here, go to "Network." In the first column, you should have the option to "Set up wireless network." When you select this option, it should automatically wipe out all of your old wireless
settings and start from scratch. From there, you could back out and reboot to see if it detects the Ethernet connection in the absence of any wireless settings. If that DOESN'T work, at the same Network Settings location, you can actually scroll down to "Advanced
Settings" and choose "Disconnect Wireless." This would make it so your console doesn't attempt to connect to the wireless AT ALL, which should default to the Ethernet connection.

Once you've changed any settings, I recommend doing a hard boot (hold the power sensor on the console for 8-10 seconds, wait for the power brick to go steady orange, unplug for five minutes, then start back up.) This should make it detect the "active" ethernet
connection in the absence of a wireless connection.

    Let us know!

Have to enter the WPA2 Password every time - after selecting a different Wi-fi Service

WPA2E is the only type of server I have. If this this isn't fixed I going to have to return my xbox.
