    Is there any plan to support WPA2-Enterprise wifi on Xbox one? The hardware is capable of supporting it but there is currently no way for Xbox's to connect.

    Greetings CaptainMauZer!

    There is no current documentation that the Xbox One support WPA-enterpise or WPA2-enterprise (802.1x) connectivity.

    The workaround (as for the Xbox 360) is to connect your console (wired) with a computer. Share the computer's Internet connection and use your computer's MAC address as your console's alternative MAC address.

    I'm living in a college dorm till next year and am forced to use this wireless protocol. The 360 never supported it and was just wondering if anyone could confirm for me whether or not Microsoft has included support for it.

    At this time there isn't. Maybe they'll do something in the future but at this time no.

    You may mean wpa2 *enterprise* that isn't supported(a lot of schools and colleges tend to use this)

    Why won't my security protocol work?

    Wpa2 psk is supported not enterprise but not wpa 3

    No console supports wpa3

    Only pc and phones and tablets devices support it

    Consoles don't really need enterprise grade encryption

    You will have to wait for brooklin to see if it will be supported atm no console supports it

    My university uses the same encryption and it isn't supported. We are stuck using the same methods as we did with the 360. I don't understand why, Windows 8 uses it, windows phone 8 uses it, so why not the xbox one? So irritating.
