WP8 and Music app(Xbox Music)

I've been having trouble with the music app on my windows phone 8(Nokia Lumia 810). I have a Xbox music pass and I am able to stream music on my phone just fine. However, when i try downloading a song it tells me attention is required. Once i click the song
that needs attention, it tells me "Sorry, we weren't able to complete your download. Please try canceling and re-downloading." I've tried this many times but the same messages keep popping up. I have restarted my phone, but keep having the same problem. I'm
able to download the songs on my Surface 3 without any problems but I am not able to transfer the downloaded songs to my phone but it says I do not have the "rights" for the song. This occurs with all the songs i have tried downloading from various artists.

I appreciate the reply, however as noted above I am already an Xbox Music subscriber. I am downloading music using my Xbox Music Pass to the storage on my WP8.

I plug the WP8 into my xbox. Using the guide music player, I navigate to the music folders on my wp8 and attempt to play. It worked the first week I purchased the phone and now gives me the error code mentioned above.

No you do not need an Xbox Music Subscription. You need to use the syncing application. It can transfer your music and playlists.

So how do you fix the this problem. I am having the same problem. Zune works, xbox music works on my surface, but the same message comes up on my phone (lumia 635) as Charlie was experiencing. I am at the end of my rope and ready to toss the phone and
switch over to an IPhone I am so frustrated and I can't find any help anywhere.

 

I don't know how to fix this but i found a way to work around it. I download the songs I wanted on my pc, then i transferred them through the windows phone app when you connect your phone to the pc. Hope this works for you as well.

I used to be able to download tracks from my Xbox Music pass just fine until a day ago.

 

I'm the same as SUPERPANDA, using a Lumina 640XL.
