WP7 not updating.

Hi guys,

I have an Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 8 Tablet, Lumia 920 and a Lumia 610. I can play and earn achievements on all devices until recently. All my other devices sync and unlock Gamerscore properly. EXCEPT for the Lumia 610. Everytime I hit update it asks
me to sign in and then proceeds to tell me "There is a problem with your live ID. Try again or sign in with a different Windows Live Id." Anyone know what the problem is? I can sign in every other windows device just fine. I have even authenticated all of
those other devices. This phone does not give me that option. I am a Gamerscore man. and I have unlocked achievements on this device but it is holding on to my precious G. Damn you little blue 610. I shall have my revenge.

I have cleared the cache and restarted phone. even on login.live.com the windows site it tells me I have successfully logged in on the device. And halo waypoint on the device signs in so what gives? Any ideas smarter people than I. I just need my G. I crave
its sweet Bleep.

On your MSA (Microsoft Account, what the L610 calls Live ID), did you set up or activate two factor authentication (TFA)?

If so, then it looks like you still have your 'normal' password on the WP7 device (most devices now will ask for a verification passcode after using this password). Since the L610 does not ask for the passcode, it needs a special password. You can generate
this by logging in at
https://account.live.com/p and clicking 'generate app password.' Then on the WP7 device, go to Settings/email+accounts and tap the Live ID, clear the password field and enter this recently-generated string of lower case letters (the app password).
