    WP Video playback is horrible from OneDrive to Xbox One


    Whole family is over and we want to watch my Soccer Video uploaded to OneDrive from my Windows Phone (Lumia 920) to OneDrive. Xbox One playback only shows the loading icon and maybe plays the video in 20 times restarting the video. Something is broken
    with the One's video playback from OneDrive.

    This is windows/Microsoft across the stack so there should be 100% vertical integration between the systems. I had this issue with Xbox 360 too except then it said it was an incompatible codac (fail). There is no reason for this to fail.

    FYI I have 120Mbs broadband and Netflix, Amazon work fine.

    I had this issue for a while, but it seemed to resolve itself eventually. I still have issues with OneDrive on Xbox One, though. I often watch videos which are an hour or more long, and they always, always, stop playing at almost exactly one hour, then
    restart. Its very frustrating.

    just uninstalled it and reinstalled it does the same thing. says:

    can still use Play To to play videos

    Try a different folder

    It took a long time to gather all your media for playback. Please try a different folder.

    Still plays video in background

    will post video soon as it uploads to onedrive (607mb for 3 min of video)

    See videos of my pc on my xbox one...

    You could also try placing the videos in you OneDrive and playing them from there on the Xbox One.

    Well this is a bit poor I must say. Aside from the fact that the trailers are all incredibly low resolution, the horrible washed out black level that has blighted all the video apps is present in screen rush, despite it arriving after the supposed black
    level dash fix.

    MS' big video streaming push really is a bit of a farce. I got better black levels from VHS tapes than I do from Xbox video playback.
