    I have been a Xbox fan since the first one came out, awesome system, than I upgraded to the 360, another awesome system, but now unfortunately I have just downgraded to a Xbox One. The sad part is I talked a bunch of my buddies into doing the same thing
    and now we don't talk.....at all. Party chat issue, game chat issue, blaming the Nat as a issue, blaming my ISP, port forward this, port forward that. Restart your console, unplug your router. We spend more time trying to connect with each other than we do
    actually playing online. Everyone gets so frustrated they end up just saying *** this and quit.

    I wish there would have been a disclaimer on the outside of the box that said....

    1.) You need to contact your ISP before buying this to make sure they support this product.

    2.) You need to be a router specialist in order to get this to occasionally
    work

    3.) If you have friends that game, don't expect to play or chat with them anymore



    All in all I'm terribly dissappointed, and all I'm getting are excuses and no solutions.

    I just got a Xbox one for Christmas was really excited to play it tonight and oh wait it doesn't
    [MOD REMOVED] work. 500 dollars for a [MOD REMOVED]. Your chat agent was nice enough to work with me and show me how to get a replacement, but if I wanted to play my xbox any time soon I have to have another 500 + dollars available on
    my credit card for a hold. You wrong someone out of something they deserve and yet they have to come up with more means to fix your problem. And im sorry im not some CEO or executive of Microsoft sitting back living the sweet life making millions of dollars
    with out a care in the world. Im just your average guy grinding everyday to bring home a 500 dollar pay check every 2 week. When I do get time off it would be nice to play some video games . Not to mention the nicest woman in the world my mother who waiting
    in line for 4 hours when the xbox first came out to get this for me. Low and behold it doesn't even work. Words cant even describe how I feel right now.

    I have a DIR-655 and I am also having issues with it... at some points when i turn it on ill get an error message telling me i cant access my friends list or messages. after troubleshooting i managed to fix it but it has occurred multiple times and at random...I
    hate this dlink Im going wired as soon as i can

    Hello,

    As your aren't the only one getting these issues, Xbox is trying very hard to push out an update by the beginning of 2015 to resolve the issues. But along with all the other issues you are having, like regarding your ISP, We have not been getting any messages
    like that. All we would have to say is, to try reset everything from your router to Xbox console.

    The problems could be a result of your ISP but there's no way to check this.

    We hope you stay with Xbox and we hope you stay to go along for the journey of Microsoft.

  5. My friends and I are experiencing the same thing, and I've been experiencing it since I got this console several months ago. We can't even get online and play together most days, and when we can, the chat usually doesn't work. There has been an issue with
    my console EVERY SINGLE TIME I've turned it on. Sometimes its as simple as my controller not turning the console on remotely, sometimes my mic won't work. Every now and then unplugging the console fixes some of the issues, but this system is absolutely a
    step backwards from the 360. The reply you got basically says "Screw you, we might fix this sometime in 2015." Not acceptable. Microsoft has dropped the ball.
