Wow.... where is everyone?

in the months leading up to a major release of a new halo game, i could always expect to see a huge volume of threads being posted here on the xbox forums. not anymore, apparently, as everyone has disappeared in the last month or so and moved on. come
on people. i'd love to see all of you putting threads on here, informing us about news and questions about my favorite game series... and no i don't mean that pile of crap COD. i mean halo. always halo. halo forever!

Wow. Well let's see where this is gonna end up.

 

This forum will probably blow up the week before the game launches. Halo 5 is going to be HUGE and I absolutely can't wait for it!

 

noticed forums seems to have died. Looking back a few years ago it was far more active. My opinion i could be wrong.

 

crozier... you're not wrong. the community was far more active a few years ago. when halo 3 released it was not uncommon to see 20-75 k people on at a time playing the game and threading it up here on the forums. nowadays, there's not very many playing on
any of the halo games except for reach and halo 4 since the player base is heavily fragmented now. especially since the MCC released on the xbox one last year. pamersan is also right in assuming the the community will pick back up for awhile following the
release of halo 5. we'll see.... it could happen but i'm not holding out for a miracle here....which is what this would amount to.

 

These forums are 1000x more complicated to navigate. They aren't user friendly at all. As a 10 year xbox member, I ALWAYS used these forums. But to even get to this point, I had to yahoo answer how to get here. IT's that ridiculous. Ive heard complaints
from many others as well. Just because it's easy for you guys though doesn't mean it is for others .

The forusm back in the old days was just going to xbox.com, and clicking FORUMS! only to be presented with a list of all the games! Now it's so complicated on where you need to go. Not to mention everyone goes to 343's forums

 

everyone is still on last gen prob, plus these forums ARE horrid.

 

They're on the Halo waypoint forums.

The game specific forums on xbox.com are just not very popular any more no matter what the game.

 

TMCC had one of the worst launches in gaming history and was beyond broken for many months. Many people including myself still have nothing but frustration toward 343 because of that game.

I have not even pre-ordered H5 and will not buy it at launch. I am keeping an eye on its release to see how well or how poorly it does. If it is full of bugs or has major mp problems again, then I simply will not buy it.

So yeah it makes perfect sense why hardly anyone is discussing this game.

 

There's plenty of hype for these games. It's the Microsoft forums that are the problem. Even the console ban forum, which used to provide me with hours of entertainment is pretty sparse.
