Would you use the Xbox 360 controller on the Xbox One if it was compatible?

No, I much prefer the XBOX ONE controller. If the Wii U Pro Controller was compatible I'd use that because it's so much more comfortable in the hand... LOL.

No. Wish I could use the XBOX One controller on the 360 though.

 

I just set up my 360 again in my basement to use the new TV I got. I must say I cant believe the difference between the two controllers. The X1 is so smooth, responsive. The 360 is clunky, no feel to it.

On a side note I also set up my WII beside my 360...... MS has nothing on that controller.... that is top notch IMO!

Maybe, I really like the 360 controller and have fond memories of endless nights. The worse thing about owning the elite controller is like owning a new car, you don't want to scratch it.

Btw, I use the DS4 on the ps3, I bet you MS has thought about this with their consoles.

If I couldn't find my X1 controller or if it wasn't working properly, YES. But everything else I'll stick with it.

Advantages I experience with the X1 controller is it's lighter and slimmer, especially the battery component, and it works just like the day I got my Xbox 1 Day 1 console with Kinect. Things I don't quite like about it is how violently it vibrates. But I
can make a joke about it and don't dislike it enough to complain about how violently it vibrates. Major Nelson implied in a video that all the controls (toggle sticks, buttons, etc) on the normal controller for Xbox 1 can withstand something like up to 2 million
or so hours or 2 million presses or something. I also have Kinect so can use voice commands too.
