would you move from ps4 to XB1?

@ Zero strange world here, someone has a grudge against me on these forums what else would get me a ban to the stardate 2167 ?

Well, so far this thread seems civil enough.

Okay, in regards to both consoles, there isn't much of a difference. The irony regarding individuals who wanted a "games only" console via the PS4 is that a lot of the things the PS4 does regarding media and entertainment, the XB1 also does. Both can (now)
take screenshots, records clips, access music, Netflix (and other apps), etc. They are both entertainment consoles through and through - the ONLY difference between the 2 consoles was the advertising - MS pushed entertainment as a whole while Sony only pushed
games. Well, that and the games were different too, of course, like everyone here was already saying. With DX12 coming soon, we may yet see a drastic improvement with the XB1 too. Whether or not that'll make it achieve parity or even surpass the PS4, we'll
have to wait and see, but it's still a bonus regardless.

In the end, ultimately, it's up to you. Do the research, gather the facts, and learn about the games and features that are available on both platforms - if you can do that successfully, you shouldn't be disappointed with whichever you choose. And, of course,
as others have also already said, if you have the money, there's nothing wrong with getting both (well, maybe a bit of redundancy, but I digress).

Games>Friends>Online service>Graphics

 

If your buying a console strictly for gaming the PS4 shines.

PS Plus is significantly better than Gold with the free game offerings especially if you own more than one platform (Vita, PS3). The sales are also better on the PSN, the PS4 also has a larger game library so there's more on sale.

PS Now allows people who didn't own a PS3 to play 120 plus games from the PS3 library for a fixed charge of 19.99 a month.

The UI is also significantly faster than the One. This is my biggest complaint with the One.

Many of the less popular multiplayer games appear to have a larger player base on the One (Farcry 4 MP, PvZ, etc) but as someone else mentioned you'll find more people with mics on the PS4 ( for better or worse depending on the game).

 

Its better to own both systems.

 

@Randver, "If your buying a console strictly for gaming the PS4 shines." That is very subjective since what you consider to be a great game, I could consider to be an average to poor game. Obviously it can go the other way.

PS+ is a better service that Games with Gold but I find both services, for me, just providing filler that I try out be rarely invest time into. On PS+ I loved Resogun (before the update), Dead Nation and Hotline Miami but wasn't much else I cared for.

On GwG I liked Limbo, Chariot and Powerstar Golf but I hated D4.

Anyway each to their own.

What I meant by that was if you can do without some of the multimedia and social features that the One has and you're only going to game on the console.

 

i dont own a ps4 because i dont like sony but also because none of there single player exclusives do anything for me. if you play online and want great service then the one is def for you nothing beats XBL it has dedicated servers aswell external hard drive
aswell. IMO some of the ps fan base is the worse but like i said my opinion. if u r asking weather you should get a one over a ps4 which you already own then it shows that u aint happy with ur ps4. id get both and try the one if you like it then sell ur ps4.
if u dont like it then sell the one and keep the ps4.
