would you move from ps4 to XB1?

I have been where you are a few times, I wasnt sure what I wanted and as a result bought and sold multiple consoles switching from X1 to PS4 many times until I realised I needed both, because they are both great. I now own both, I am on my 3rd X1 & PS4...

My point is that although they are both great, the online service is comparable, the graphics are comparable and the exclusives are the main draw, what your friends play etc...

I wasnt happy owning just one, seemed silly to own both, but I was never content with just the one.... so I saved and got both and am super happy...

Be careful with bundles in game some are just codes to download the game I thought that when I bought a bundle with forza titanfall and dead rising no disc just codes

 

I haven't read through this entire thread to see if this has been mentioned so please forgive me if it has. If you had to choose just 1, I would pick the system that I have the most friends on and the system that has the controller I like the best. i have
both and honestly, I'm bored with both of them lol.

 

thanks everyone (at least one thing is for sure.. the XB forum is miles better/friendly than the PS forum) think I might go with both, I do like my PS4 (exclusive's so far aren't up my street) im abit of an OCD freek and the ps4 just makes me paranoid (loud
fan at times) but I do miss my XB gaming.

the X1 is very quiet and barely gets warm after hours of gameplay.

the community is generally pretty good, but there are some threads that go bad.

If you have to choose one over the other then you really need to look at what has the most games that interests you. Both a great machines with their own +'s and -'s.

I have had both and personally I ended up keeping X1 and selling my PS4 (PSN: Blitz23NZ for those that may want to double check haha).

Reason being that other than Uncharted 4, GT or a Last of Us 2, I don't really enjoy many other PS exclusives. I was interested in The Order until I played it late last year and was not impressed. Turns out the final game didn't change much... Played Bloodborne
and although it played well its not really my type of game.

I'm a huge Gears fan, love Halo and prefer Forza to GT. Future exclusives such as Quantum Break look very interesting as I love Remedy's past games (Alan Wake was one of my top 5 360 games).

So really you just need to get hold of a X1 somehow and play a few of the exclusives before committing. I guess if you came from the 360 and enjoyed what Xbox had to offer then you can be pretty sure of what is to come.

 

Also a negative opinion on here will also get you a ban to the stardate 2167. You got to be very careful what you say now in here.

That's not true, I've seen plenty of negative opinions and debates that did not lead to bans. Otherwise, there are a few people that I've seen posting today that would have been banned a while ago.

 

@ Zero i'm afraid it is i wouldn't make lies up to get attention, there's no point. It's happening and there's not one shred of evidence that makes it justifiable.

 

I think like most things in this world it comes down to personal preference as to why you might choose one product over another, you'll find opinions will vary as to why someone has chosen something and you might no necessarily agree with that.

If you've got the time and money though, best of both worlds is the obvious choice and you may eventually gravitate towards one anyway.

 

i understand that you believe this was the case in your banishment, but it is more likely that you were a toxic element in the community and less likely that it was because you had a negative opinion of the X1, or playing the devils advocate, maybe you were
unjustly banned, which you should contact the mods to have it cleared up.

and this is the internet, i have no reason to believe that you're telling the truth anymore than anyone believing i'm telling the truth about anything, after all, there are people that enjoy inflicting grief upon others just for funsies.

 

The Fact you are asking the question answers your question. I've never felt a need to ask myself the opposite of your question. Very happy with X1.

 

I moved from PS4 to XB1, and I haven't looked back. Not much difference in graphics, however, with the fluff of "powerhouse" that is suppose to be the PS4, I've seen some games and details look better on the XB1, and I feel that it's only going to get better.
This is my only XB, since the original XB, and I've always been a PS fan, but it's different this generation.

As far as crashing or noise, my XB is so quite, I have to look at it to see if it's even on. I haven't noticed any crashing, freezing or anything else.

Personally, I want a gaming console too, but the XB1 is that and more.

 

Xbox for me had a Playstation prefer the one more friends on it...plus I like me fifa clubs and am part of a big website on xbox one.just started accepting sony user due to then moaning there are no pro clubs league lol

 

I moved from Ps4 to Xb1 and I somewhat regret it. Always been a XBOX guy from day 1 and on XB-live for nearly 11 years.

I got a ps4 first just because of the power thing and I was disappointed in Microsoft's vision but I soon started to miss friends I have gained over the years, plus the mic quality on ps4 is POOOOOOOOOOOOOP.

But I'm sorry to say and IMO the graphics are noticeably worse on XB1

I think the DS4 has Surpassed XB1 pad

The Games with gold equivalent on PSN are definitely better.

Whilst the Mic is poop on psn there seems to more people talking in open lobby's

I find the Xb1 to fairly buggy. I just bought DOA5LR on XB1 and its totally unplayable online for everyone and its unique to Xb1.

I wont get rid of it, but I really don't have much positive to say about it. I should have waited.
