I don't play on playstation instead I play on pc and it's not like a can get an xbox giftcard to use on vbucks is there an other way?

If you play on PC and want to purchase Fortnite vbucks, you can do it using credit/debit card, they are the most common payment methods.

Note that if you play with the game installed on PC, you can make your purchase in the in-game store itself.

no, it will add the vbucks to your microsoft account, to then ync them to your epic account you would need to load fortnite on xbox console or free via the cloud then the vbuck will appear on your epic account.

If there is an option to purchase the vbucks as a gift you can do that. Just select the package you want, choose the option to buy as a gift and then select your child's account to send it to. They'll get it as a redeemable code to their Xbox Live Message
Center.

Another option would be to add currency to their account. You can only do this if you are listed as the parent account. https://account.microsoft.com/family

Sorry but in game items that you purchase on your account cannot be transferred to a different account. If you are looking to buy vbucks for your son please be sure to purchase them as a Gift and then select his gamertag to send them to.

Another option would be to send currency to his account from yours and allow him to buy the vbucks on his account. You can add money to his account via this link https://account.microsoft.com/family
