While I can't speak to that particular K&M set, I HAVE attached an Apple branded mouse via USB just fine to play Sims 4 on my Xbox.

As long as the game supports K&M on Xbox, that should work just fine.

No. Pretty much at this point, laptop monitors cannot be used to 'input' video. One of the notebook forums I belong to have tried e-GPU solutions and made in china express card slots but they all suffer from lag, lower quality, and being ridiculously expensive.
Unless you have an Alienware M17xR3, Alienware M18x, or I think an older Clevo model, then you are no go (I mention these because they have a specific HDMI input port). You're better off buying a nice Computer Monitor for about $175. Check out Newegg. You
won't be dissapointed.
