Would this count as harassing? (Xbox Messages)

Hey there! I got a message from a friend and I think it could be harassing. I don't want to report the message yet because I am not sure.

Message: "Join or I will not play with u on GTA or Minecraft"

I'm guessing he means he will not play the games I like ever again. He's trying to push me into playing with him even on a game I don't like too much because I refused to. Please let me know if I can report him for this, thank you.

Does this not count as offensive?

If you complain about it they should get a "code of conduct" message informing them that they need to change thier gamertag and MS will let them do that 1 time for free. I used to have "crackhead russ" as my gamertag and one day I had a message in my profile
that said "code of conduct" and it said I couldn't have that gamertag and that I needed to change it.

While it's not terribly polite, it's not really something that needs to be reported. You don't have to respond to it if you don't want to. However, if they keep messaging you that over and over, be sure to report it using the tools in your console and
DO NOT RETALIATE.

I would not consider this harassment.

 

It’s not harrassing at all, but if you reported it, I wouldn’t be surprised, at all, if that person got suspended.

 

I wouldn't personally consider that harassment. I would just ignore the person. Obviously they want to play the game with you specifically. So they'd most likely end up playing the games you like in the future anyways.

 

While in poor taste i dont think its harrasment.

 

Why do you think it's a harassment? It looks more like striking a deal.
