Would "Reset this Xbox but keep games and apps" remove my game progress?

If you always play online, then your progress is saved to the cloud so you should not be losing any of it. Therefore, when you select "reset and keep games and apps", you will not be losing your saved progress.

Would this remove my games and progress? I have just bought a game and don't want to lose my money. Hard resetting it removes the games but keeps them on the account but if you remove the account as well would you lose the games?

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.
