Crazy I just clicked on this. For the last few days my XBOX has been messing up.

All day yesterday when I put a disc in it would just shut off. (So I unplugged it and it seemed fine)

Today it took forever for a disc to load... so I restarted. And then it send "Your Kinect is Ready" and told me it wasn't plugged in. So again a complete restart/unplug the console and Kinect seemed to fixed the issue (for now).

Glad I am not the only one experiencing these issues. Hopefully they come out with a fix soon.

 

i dont understand why they would bring the july update out for the public whent hey havent fixed the problems us preview beta people told them about they new about my problem a week ago i wasnt too bothered before it went public because i thought they was
fixing it

 

Absolutely the reason why I declined to participate in the preview program. I can wait a few extra weeks for the update.

 

I had some odd behavior with my console after 1407 was installed. A cold boot resolved the issues for me. Maybe try setting it to full off, then after it's off pull the power cable, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in?

 

I agree with whoever has said it, thanks to you beta testers, not once have I participated in a dashboard beta as I like the smooth experience when I get home from work. I don't want to try and play games only for this untested update to stop me.

Opt out of the program if you think it's causing issues. That's all I can say really, as I haven't had any issues myself.

 

Sad to hear your having issues with your Xbox one due to a dodgy preview update N7 Ghost. Hopefully they fix what they dodged up..

 

So this post has me afraid to do the July update. I don't have instant on running so its still sitting there to update. Anyone else having issues with the update?

 

The only real issue I had was a few months ago with the disc swapping problem, which I had my own work around but also saw I wasn't alone with it. Glad it was from the preview and not just my console dying.

On the new preview app I read about known issues, one was starting up to a black screen, that did happen to me once, a power cycle fixed it tho.

 

there a loads on the forum for the preview my cuz did his update and now everytime his in a game a box pops up asking him to set up kinect iv tried everything. what annoys me if i told microsoft this 3 days ago 48 hours later they release the update to the
public why do that when they new there was still major bugs

 

i have also now found out that when it does this the fan on top stops yet heat still come sout also when the controller stays on and i take the battery out and out it back on i try restart the xbox from the controller and the console doesnt power on.

Its funny you mention the Kinect though as mine made me recalibrate it too last night after a recent update.

This has got Me a little worried now. I know there's a chance of problems with being in the preview, The fact I haven't suffered any issue is making Me wonder if I'm gonna bypass the small issues and then suddenly get a massive issue lol.

There's been no reports of X1's exploding yet has there? lol

 

nope goat. iv had every problem reported in this update the static IP deleting the kinect no working the black screen and now this
