I would just like to take this time and thank microsoft for breaking my xbox one console, before the latest 1407 update my xbox one was fine but then from the start of the update if my xbox is on instant on mode when i go to turn it off the controller stays
on and the console doesnt fully power off i can still feel heat and sound coming from it if i leave it for a few hours the vent on top gets really hot and the xbox is still on everytime i have to do a hard reboot i thought they was going to fix it but now
they have brought this update out for the public with out fixing it. During this update they also made it so kinect wouldnt work or kinect would keep asking to be set up and also deleting peoples static IP

    :)

If I am not mistaken they use live servers to keep track of that.

Depends on the Publishers. I know EA has their own servers for their games they they control and monitor. Was the same for Bungie. And i think Actvisin also has their own servers. Some smaller publishers will use Live servers.

Except CoD isn't played on servers.

    .

    It's P2P hosted.

I wonder if it was the update or your XB1 was messed or starting to mess up. I hope your XB1 doesn't get fried.

  5. This is the second time that you've had serious issues after an update. I thought updates were supposed to be helpful.

I think this might just be a dodgy console.

I've never had an issue past the disc drive issue which was fixed. Perhaps you are part of the faulty 1.5%.

He's in the update beta program. Specifically to help ensure that doesn't happen to other people. That's what he signed up for

  12. I just wanted to thank the brave testers at the preview beta program for putting your Xbox One's on the line, so mine along with many others may have a chance to live in this cruel world. Seriously Ghostz, I'm sorry to hear that

I haven't used "Instant On" since the 2nd/3rd day of ownership; the only real problem I've had with the preview is when the drive wouldn't wake back up after ejecting a disc.

    Peace, J.R.

I use the instant on, I'm also in the preview. I think this was very bad luck.

All part of choosing to be in a BETA (testing) program...as said above, thank you for your service! I suppose if you don't like to be a tester, you can opt back out?
