Would I get banned?

If another gamer owed me 75$ and I take 25$ from them to be gifted to my gamer profile is it right if he reports me for stealing even though he owes me?

would I get banned for using a third party harddrive on my xbox slim? I want to open tha case and add a 1TB SATA HDD but I'm afraid of being banned from live.

Windmills do not work that way.



You can't just "add" a HDD to a 360 console. The 360 requires certain security and partitioning data to be present on a 360 HDD. That data also logically restricts the size of HDDs, regardless of the physical size of the HDD.

If you use their card without their permission, that is fraud and is not only against the Xbox Code of Conduct, but is illegal.

Well I ended up Paying him back 25$ I hope next time he thinks about how he owes someone hes expected to pay them back.

 

You also learned a lesson here, don't login to another persons profile. You're very lucky your console aint banned until 1/1/9999 for fraud..

 

I am not sure simply paying him back will eliminate the fact that you logged into another users account. You may still see ramifications from your action.

 

Yea as the user above me had stated since you did login to someone elses account there is still a high chance that at minimum your account could be permanently banned or in a worst case scenario your console could be banned.even if you payed him back it
unfortunately doesnt matter as you still broke the TOS
