    Would closing an xbox account unlink it from all other platforms/websites that use the xbox account? i’m wondering because i want to know if i still have to go through the hassle of unlinking my xbox account from every other platform.

    the other accounts will be linked to a dead account, best to unlink first or you may have issues if it requires an email confirmation.

    i am aware that you will no longer be able to link it to any platform, but what i was wondering is, what happens to the status of anything you had linked beforehand? such as a ubisoft account or any other account like that?

    Hello there!

    Once you close your account, you will not be able to use it on any other platform. When you select to close your account it will take 60 days to be closed.

    you would need to login to the ea account on ea website and unlink from there, unless they have changed it simular to epic.

    Epic games changed earlier this year and locked accounts (you can unlink but only re link the xbox account with the exact same epic account)
