Worth starting as a new player this late after release?

Hey All,

I bought the Digital Guardian Edition when it released, but never got around to playing b/c of work.

If I started playing now, would I be too far behind the curve to really enjoy it? Would friends be hard to find?

Also, is there a "best" class to start with, or is it all just a matter of player preference?

New League starting

I usually play every night after 10:00 pm Central time. Looking for other players who play later in the evening as well to join league that will advance about every three days or so. Teams are first come first serve. Hopefully we can fill as many teams as

Is this game worth picking up at the moment or waiting til a later date ? Looking for a few new games to play.

Agreed, there is still a great community that is active on Destiny. I've played since day one and the game has only gotten better since then. They've updated the game multiple times, fixed a bunch of issues, released an expansion, and still host regular
special events like the Iron Banner. They also plan on releasing at least another two expansions and Xbox One users will be getting all the content that was previously PlayStation exclusive later this year. So there you have it, much is still yet planned for
Destiny

 

Just started last week and am having no problems at all. Still plenty of active people, and you'll catch up in no time
