    So I have recently been able to leap the massive hurdle of actually obtaining a new console around launch day and had it delivered on the 5th of december. Loved it but had played a few hours of the course of a week. I realise one day the right trigger has
    lost its stiffness enough for me to warrant some concern and look into returning. I rang and was told after saying a repair wouldnt be fitting as it was quite CLEARLY a week old. I was told I wouldnt have to wait for my faulty pad to arrive at microsft, but
    that they would send a new one out straight out to me without them first receiving this. First redflag for me as i knew it was a longshot. Rang pon the expected day of arrival to be told no record was kept of said conversation and the delivery notes. After
    another few hours of waiting on the phone and listening to reassurances i was told to do the initial way that they do things which is to send of for repair and then if its not repairable be sent a new one. I was reassured however as it had only been a week
    since purchase and all the subsequent nonsense that ensued i would receive a NEW controller.

    Today i open a crappy cardbox box with a used controller in with no packaging, just a lterall pad in bubble wrap... I want to make a complaint that would be listened to as i spent nearly 8 hours on the phone to being lied to by people that are sitting at home
    improvising customer care to the lowest standard.

    I do NOT believe microsoft have any customer care values, I have spent well over £2000 last year alone on multiple accounts for my family and cant even get a manager to call me back after the 7TH time of being told by an agent i would receive such calls..

    1.How to rectify faulty controller?

    2.How to have a complaint taken seriously or spoken to by a manger?

    3.Are calls monitored so the first agent that told so many lies initially can receive disciplinary action?

    4. Best way to dispose of THIS GIANT FRIDGE in the corner of my room, and the other 4 consoles in this house?

    I would personally buy the xbox series x. Reason for that is the new xbox has amazing features that no xbox has ever had.

    Im sorry that happened to you as a gamer i can understand where your coming from but on the other he wasnt all that rude just pointing out a fact. The original customer service rep should have solved the issue if she didnt then ask for a supervisor.

    Hi,

    Just so you know, all customer service agents from companies work this way unless you provide them with a reference number from a prior case. In this specific case I'm not seeing anything the customer service agent said to you that was wrong or rude. He was
    simply telling you that he wasn't able to see the information that you had discussed with another agent, I'm assuming here because you didn't provide him with any sort of reference number for a prior case during the conversation.

    Usually, when you have a conversation with a support agent (this goes for almost any company) they give you a reference number in case you need to contact them again in regards to the same situation or an update to a pending case. You of course won't reach
    the same customer service agent in such a large company, but they should be able to look over the information from a previous case as long as you're able to provide them with the reference number.

    The specific issue you're seeing here is something that Microsoft cannot assist with because it's a contractual deal. You would need to return the console to whomever you purchased it from as they should not be selling contracted consoles unless the full contract
    is paid off. You're not able to start off paying someone else's contract, and there's no way to simply unblock the console after it's been banned due to the previous person not paying their contract. So your only real resolution to this case is to speak with
    the retailer or person you've purchased this console from and ask for your money back.

    P.S: It's not that they are all about the money, it's that the previous person is in a legally binding contract, and they have broken that contract. It's illegal for them to simply say okay you can pick off where the other person left off and pay the rest of
    the money. The contract is still in the previous owners name, and there would be nothing stopping the previous owner from getting that console back after you started paying the money for the console.

    I'm not really seeing how that's rude. I especially don't see how it qualifies as "the rudest people". A little on the dumb side perhaps, but not really rude. Also it's the original purchasers responsibility to inform the people they are selling it to
    that they are still on contract.

    That said, the only way to fix a problem with an EFA console is to have the original purchasers information. EFA was a horrible idea for Microsoft AND for the customers, hopefully they never do that again.
