    So I buy a new console at the midnight release. Within a month I am having Fan issues. I process an advanced exchange. My new console is dead on arrival, making a loud clicking whirring noise that gets so Loud with disc games it is impossible to play. I
    call back and explain the issues. I am told They can't process a return until They receive my old console ( I was waiting for the shipping label) I ask to speak to customer care, since I believe it is unacceptable to receive two broken consoles in a row. I
    all told my case will be elevated and the care team will call me soon. A while later I get an email from the care team with nothing except instructions on How to process the advanced exchange, which I just did. I call Xbox support back, and am told customer
    care doesn't have a phone number, But if I respond to the email They will call me. I do, and wait for two weeks. No call, No email. I call Xbox back. Now, since I have been waiting for the care team to respond, Xbox has change their exchange policies, and
    They will have to charge me a $30 service fee for the return, and put a $650 hold on my card (more than the price of a new console, with all peripherals. ) I am completely army wits end. Still No response from any kind of customer service. I am never buying
    an Xbox again.

    ok, I have been on the phone with xbox customer support for just under four hours and nothing was resolved, worst support ever!!! My issue was that I had bought my friend and my wife 1 month of xbox live gold and had to cancel my friends subscription the
    following month, so I called them and they cancelled his and took my wife's off too and hers was supposed to auto renew but didn't, instead they said they issued a refund and it's been over 7 business days and still have not seen the refund. That's not the
    worst part. My biggest problem was that I was hung up on by 3 different agents then I finally got ahold of a supervisor and he still didn't do anything for me, I'm not about to repay for something I've already paid for. Oh and for the record, I'm sure that
    the Microsoft team doesnt look at these reports or if they do, they sure as hell don't care about this. I challenge 1 person from Microsoft to reply to this post!

    Frankly, if I hadn't invested so much in my Xbox, I'd have already sold it and moved on.

    I've got too much tied to it and can't afford otherwise.

    I completely understand and agre with you.

    PS. Xbox live is the WORST service of the 3. Don't kid yourself Toxic Raven.

    Not much people here can do but you should call them back and keep asking to speak to a supervisor. They will try to avoid doing that so they will most likely help you put then but if not keep asking to speak to their supervisor and eventually they have
    you you through.

    Thats the best advice I've got for you, hope it works you for you.

    Xbox is really annoying me as of late.

    I put in my credit card info to buy some xbox live. It automatically enrolled you for reenrolement. Then you can't remove your card info because it's set up for reenrolement. Then you get to try to navigate the maze of their website which they do all they
    can to try to keep you enrolled. It really tics me off.

    I have all three consoles. I've played all three online and used the bulk of the services that each offer. I've been a gamer since 1977 so I've been through every console generation. I've seen the industry grow by leaps and bounds with every "next gen". I was
    an original GAP member with the Playstation and a frequent contributor on the old NSider Nintendo boards. Xbox Live was the first service to get it right and it kept getting better with each iteration. Nothing is perfect but after using the services of all
    three I am more than happy with Xbox Live and will continue being a member.

    Like any company or corporation there is always a chain of command so to say, If you feel that your needs are not being met at that lvl you can always go to the next lvl above that one. Sometimes you might run into a situation were you are not being transfered
    to the supervisor or the individual you are speaking with or are being told that that is not possible, Do not frett just keep well documented copies of your conversations, be sure to include names, dates, and as much detail as to what was said. Sometimes you
    may have to skip a few steps and go over some heads to get somewhere with your issue. But I believe that Microsoft takes pride in there service, and care about the experiences of all their customers. So if it takes going strait to the top so be it you may
    not see imediate results but your issue will be taken care of in time and i would almost bet that you would be compensated for your troubles and your time spent trying to resolve your issue.
