    Worried about being possibly banned/Voice ban


    So tonight i was playing against some unsporting people and I sent one a message, i know i probably could have gone about it different or ignored it, but this person sent some very derogatory word back to me. I should have ended it at that but it continued
    back and fourth for some time. I finally ended and blocked him and reported him for what he said, but then I had a thought what if his friends reported me to and got me voice banned or banned for a time. So my question is what goes into deciding who gets bans
    or if you cant say that, could you at least tell me if am at risk of a ban.

    If it sounds to good to be true.... IT IS!!! Sounds highly illegitimate to me. I'm worried about stuff like this and having my gamertag suspended.. Iv heard people getting banned for less!

    Worried about being possibly banned/Voice ban

    If you replied in a way that violates the ToU/CoC & where reported then you risk being suspended.

    It only takes one valid report.If you were reported then that report will be investigated by the enforcement team & they will decide what happens.

    You can find out about enforcement actions etc. on the enforcement site

    It's always best to just report,block then ignore anyone being abusive to you over live & they will be dealt with.

    Don't worry they will get console banned its in the terms of use they cant do anything they will be the ones getting banned report them for voice chat or in game voice

    If the code of conduct is being followed and the player isn't using hacks (cheating) then it is highly possible that he won't be banned. There is no way to truly answer this question of him being banned as we don't have access to that information, but as
    stated above, if he is doing nothing wrong, then he is fine and has nothing to worry about as game glitches do happen.
