I was tempted to purchase it from Game this morning, but they wanted £34:99. So I downloaded it off the store at £19:99. Can't tell you what it's like as yet as I'm playing Mario Kart lol.

 

No worries Pesty, think I'll probably buckle and get it when I get home, noticed Shopto have credit for a few quid off so may just get one of those to save another quid or two and make myself feel better about it

£19.99 isn't too bad of a price. Like I said up there ^ the wife is after this one so the cheaper the better I would probably play it here and there when the occasion calls for it. Curious as to whether its as fun as it was when I was a kid.

I was going to make a OXF clan if enough people buy it so we could play to together. Will wait it out before I make one.

Yeah I buckled and stuck it on to download, made the fatal mistake of watching a twitch stream and couldn't resist once I saw a worm get a rocket to the face lol

 

I managed to get this with credit left over on GAME. It's not worth the high price tbh. It's pretty much identical to Clan Wars and Revolution and doesn't offer enough (IMO) to be the high price tag. Maybe for a £10 or even £15 at a push it would've been
worth it.

It still should be a great game to have the lads round though.

 

Game is great as ever local multiplayer but online is truly horrendous - took me about 10 mins of trying to get into a match then when it did it was plagued by what seemed like a strange kind of lag where the worms would warp along every now and then. Also
between turns time is shockingly slow and to top it all off the game locked up!

 

Ok, managed to finish an online game, it ran better but still has some bad times between moves, but had a great time, liking the water, quite fun to flush a worm out lol

 

I love the funny noises they make when they die or get slapped. I haven't checked into this game but if its like the originals, that was a high point for me. Shame they didn't make this like PvZ though. 3rd person carnage.
