World of tanks update exceeds data allowance

The latest update of world of tanks,24.7 GB, exceeds my monthly 20 gb data allowance. I know it sounds archaic but it is what it is. It is usually sufficient, however, not in this case. The last big update of 33gb I was able to utilize a friends internet.
That was pre COVID and in the big city. I am living in rural Texas and not mobile anymore. Enough of the sob story.

Is there any way to obtain the update, purchase or otherwise, on a flash drive or other media? I tried navigating Support to contact them directly and kept getting here, so, the question is out there, now. Hoping for help getting back into the game,
one of the few distractions from the chaos of these times. I could change my data plan, doubling my monthly cost, not sure if it upgrade immediately. Trying here first. Thank you in advance.

No sorry, I'm afraid not. Updates can only be downloaded directly from Live.

The only other way would be put your game on an external drive and go to a friends home who has an Xbox One and update the game there.

When you plug the drive back in to your console you won't be asked to download the update (because you've already updated it). No other way around it.
