With the
recently released Xbox One update (October 2019), World of Tanks: Mercenaries game launcher takes a long time to start and ultimately fails to start with error

8027025a.

Troubleshooting steps:

- I have tried launching the game again only to have the same problem.

- I have tried restarting my Xbox One, then launch the game only to have the same problem.

- I have
power cycled my Xbox One, then launch the game only to have the same problem.

- I have tried uninstalling the game, reinstalling, then launch the game only to have the same problem.

- I have even tried powering down my router/gateway and my Xbox One, then launch the game only to have the same problem.

- I have not tried a
factory reset. I'm trying to avoid doing this unless absolutely necessary.

OS version: 10.0.18363.7194 (19h1_release_xbox_dev_1910.190929-1945)

I am running an Xbox One X if that also helps.

Yes, this is the only game.

I should also mention that I do have the game installed on an external 8TB hard drive. I could try moving the game to the Xbox One X's internal storage and attempt to run it before trying anything else.

Have you gotten it to work? WOT is one of the more problematic games for me. I've tried everything and still can't get it to launch. As much as I love XBox One, I'm having a tougher time wanting to buy more games on it since I have several with the same
issue. Why buy them on XBox One if I can't play em?

Hi Lights,

Thanks for the reply. We recommend to try that first to move or reinstall it on the internal HD. Personally have found myself some games work better on the internal than on external HD, which is weird.

I too have this issue but with forza horizon i am pretty sure its got something to do with the fact i have 300 games installed and my hard drive is pretty full we could do with a defragmenation program to bring all bits closer to gether
