World of Tanks coming to xbox one with cross play

World of Tanks to roll out on Xbox One

I for one am looking forward to this because me and my mate play it on the 360

:)

It's a fun little game.

Never really got to play that much of it on the Xbox 360 but what I did play I really enjoyed so really look forward to giving it a proper go.

I would hate to have to grind again to get my tanks that I have on the 360.

 

Nice,i did the 360 beta but didn't spent much time on it,after.

Since,i don't play on 360,anymore.So i'm happy to see it coming on Xbox one,i just hope to have time to spend on it.....

For a F2P,it's really good and fun.

This is awesome. The one hesitation for me about bringing World of Tanks to the Xbox One was fracturing the player base, and cross-platform gaming between the One and 360 makes that a non-issue.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the in-game chat.

That is an interesting question about in-game chat via cross platforms. Makes you wonder what was all the fuss with the XONE and its current blue tooth issues with current gen headsets and chat devices. Money money money right peeps? They giveth but also
taketh away at the expense of the old night dolla, but in the end give it too US and say "we were able to fix the problem".

 

^ Yeah, I really don't know how it's going to work. I have seen a comment by a representative of Wargaming.net that suggested that players on different platforms will not be able to join the same platoon (in-game party) as it relies on the XBL party system
feature, which obviously currently does not allow for parties across the two platforms.

In-game chat between all players regardless of platform would be great, but it's possible that communication between people on Xbox One and the 360 will have to go through the text-based radial wheel communication, which is also currently an option in the
game. It seems that the majority of randoms end up using that method anyway.

 

While the news is awesome, I find this game incredibly hard - I just can't seem to grasp it.

 

I don't like the cross play thing. But this is good news.

 

I would have played this but it released at the time when I stopped playing MP on 360 and got the X1. This will make me more likely to play it now.
